How to Run Android Pie 9.0 x86 on PC – Dual Boot ISO Download

Google has start rolling out Android Pie Operating System on android devices. Now Android x86 developers also start work on Android Pie x86 program. By chie-wing (developer of Android-x86), Android Pie x86 ISO has launched its first version for Laptop and Windows Computers. At this time you can download and try this Android Pie on your PC by install it on your computer PC. Yes, You can run Android Pie for Computer PC and Windows at the same time with the help of Dual Boot option. I had installed Android Pie 9.1 in the Lenovo Flex 10 laptop series. Flex 10 laptop is a touch screen laptop and it is running on Windows 8 operating system. This Flex 10 laptop have very low configuration like 2 GB of RAM and Pentium Processor, Due to this reason I could not use it as much as I wanted. So I decided to convert my Flex 10 Windows Laptop to Android Pie Computer.


How to Install Android OS for PC Pie 9.0

Step 1. Download Rufus and Android Pie ISO

First of all, you need Rufus software for making bootable flash drive. and Android Pie x86 ISO Dual Boot

Download Android Installer

Download Android Pie ISO

Android Pie 9.0 ISO file to install Android on computer. You can download these both files from the below link and if you have already downloaded it, you can move to the next step.

Step 2. Create Android x86 Bootable USB using Pie ISO

First you have to make bootable flash drive with the help of Rufus.

So first connect the pen drive to the computer. Now start Rufus software on your computer.

Click on “Select” button, Now you have to select the Android Pie ISO file that you downloaded in [Step 1]. Once the ISO file is selected, click on the Start button from the bottom button. After clicking on the Start button, the file will be copied to the pen drive. Step 3. Now have to shutdown the computer without removing the flash device.

Step 4. Boot PC from USB flash drive

Once the computer is completely shutdown. Now you have to boot the computer from the pen drive. Directly you can boot your Laptop using flash drive by changing the boot option in the BIOS settings. Alternatively when the computer starts, You can boot from the pen drive by pressing the boot menu button. F2 key for Lenovo laptops and F9 key for HP laptops.

Step 5. Once you successfully boot from the flash drive, you will see a blue screen with multiple options on the screen. From which You have to select the Last option “Install Android-x86 to hard disk”.

Step 6. Now you will get lots of hard disk partitions on the screen. You have to leave the above two partitions and select the other partitions you want to install Android Pie and Hit Enter Button.Select Windows Partition

Step 7. You will now have some prompt message shows, as shown in the screenshot below. “EFI GRUB bootloader” will show a prompt which you have to ‘Skip’.

Step 8. Make Dual Boot Android + Windows

Now, The next prompts will come on your screen is Do you want to install the GRUB bootloader, you have to do it yes.Install Grub Boot loader for Android

Step 9. Again, Prompts will come on your screen Do you want to create a boot item for Windows, Just Select Yes.

Step 10. Another Prompt will show, Do you want to Install system directory as Read-Write. Just select Yes.Read and write Android partition

Step 11. Now a new prompt will come “Are you sure to create the image?” You have to press the Yes button and in the data size, write 2048MB as the size and press Enter.Make 2048MB Size Android Internal Memory

Step 12. Now you will receive the last prompt that will ask you and run android and restart. If you want to start Android now, select the option of Run Android or select the restart option to restart your computer.Restart Android PC

Now Android Pie for PC is gladly installed on you computer and laptop with Windows Dual Boot. Whenever you start the computer you will have two option shows on the screen, Android 9.0 and Windows. If you have to run Android Pie on PC, then select Android and if you want to run Windows then select Windows option from the list. At this time this is non stable version of Android Pie and If you want to Install Stable Version of Android with Windows Dual Boot you can try Android Oreo for PC.
